This class is open to ages 10+
Do you have a sewing machine that you're not sure what to do with? This class is for you! Bring your sewing machine and get a helping hand to learn the basics of how to use it. We'll work on threading, winding bobbins, changing stitch settings, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance.
IMPORTANT: Before registering for this class, make sure your machine turns on when plugged in, and that the needle moves when you press the foot pedal. If not, we recommend making an appointment with The Sewing Machine Guy of NC to get your machine in working order!
Your sewing machine!
Your sewing machine manual. If you don't have a paper copy, you can often find a pdf version online if you search by the make & model of your machine. Electronic copies are fine if you download to a phone or tablet.
A spool of thread, and two empty bobbins compatible with your machine.
When you buy your class supplies in-store at Craft Habit, you'll get 10% off your entire purchase! Be sure to arrive early enough to shop for your materials before class starts.
