I can't believe we've only got two weeks left in our pop-up space in Downtown Raleigh. It's been a short stay, but so very encouraging! We met awesome new customers, put faces to our friends from the mailing list, and learned a lot of things the (kind of) hard way. This experience has reinforced my love of Raleigh & my belief that it is one of the most supportive and welcoming little cities around. From day 1, the downtown community of business owners and advocates have been awesome neighbors, making us feel welcome, encouraged, and safe. I hope that if you came down to visit Craft Habit, you took some time to pop into our beloved neighbors, Carroll's Kitchen, Mecca, and Bittersweet. Man, I'm gonna miss all of them.
That said, I can't lie; I am looking forward to a little bit of a break, while we regroup and get to work on our permanent location. Which we will tell you about officially as soon as it's all down on paper, promise!
Anyway, enough about the near future. Join us in the here-and-now this week for some delightful crafting.
It's our last First Friday downtown!
February is National Embroidery Month, so we're having a Needles & Pins party for First Friday, Feb 3rd. Drop in from 5-9pm and add some stitches to our giant hoop of improvisation. We'll also have the button-maker out, so you can make snarky pins to express your opinions. Or very sweet and nice pins to express yourself, whatever works.
Make sure you come see us Friday, so you can say "I partied at OG Craft Habit!"
It's Week 3 of the Secret Word Sale! This week, all Fabric and Fiber Arts items are 25% off when you use the codeYarnageddon. Code can be used online, or in the store (just shout it out, with feeling, when you are ready to purchase :)
