New Year, New Hours, New Classes, and a little bit of actual news

Y'all are the Best

Hi crafty pals! So... things have been kind of busy since we opened the store ten weeks ago, but we finally have a moment to pause and share some thoughts. We have learned a TON OF STUFF in the past couple of months, and a big part of what we've learned is how much more there is left to figure out.

We are so very grateful and appreciative of our customers - your support, encouragement, and enthusiasm keep us afloat. Your feedback, class ideas, product suggestions, and creative energy have made a huge impact on the shape and direction of Craft Habit. Our goal is to be a source of inspiration and resources for the crafting community - that's YOU! Thanks for taking these first few steps with us, on what we hope to be a long & crafty journey.

Store News!

Our downtown lease has been extended an extra month, so we will be open and operating from our Martin St. location until Saturday, February 11th. We wish we could announce a date and address for our permanent location already, but those stars haven't aligned quite yet.

New Hours!

Beginning January 2017, our retail hours will be Thursday - Saturday, 1pm - 6pm, and Sunday 12pm - 5pm. That means 2 days of free street parking!

New Youth Classes & Camps!

By popular demand, we are adding youth classes to our schedule for January and February. These include a number of weekday Mini Camps, timed to coincide with the Wake Co. Public School track-out calendar. We are also working to schedule weekend classes and after-school sessions for crafters age 7 - 13.

New Adult Class Schedule!

Our preliminary schedule of classes for January and February is available online now. You'll find plenty of Beginner and Intro classes on the list, to help you learn new skills or dust off old ones. By popular request, we've lined up TWO block printing classes with our friend Michelle Ward of Mila Makes. More classes are in the works, so keep checking our class page to see what's new.
